My approach is informed by a longstanding interest in awareness, human relationships and transformation, and I meet each client with genuine curiosity and deep care.
My diverse training is grounded in integrative person-centered psychotherapy, and thus honours the innate drive in all of us to grow, develop and realise our full potential. I understand, through personal experience and training, that this natural unfolding is often thwarted by trauma and challenging life experiences.
Amazingly, the field of psychotherapy has developed and understood the tools and conditions, that allow us to process, understand, and integrate the pain and confusion we carry, and unlock our natural birthright to thrive.

I work with people navigating inner conflict, grief, overwhelm, disconnection, and the desire for greater clarity, meaning and connection.
Life and the human experience can be overwhelming, and traumatic experiences, adverse life circumstances and relational conflict can further compound this. Depression, anxiety, shutdown, and emotional dysregulation are just some of the symptoms of our body-mind systems attempting to cope. The therapeutic work ranges from gaining relief from distress to deep understanding and positive transformation.
What Therapy With Me Is Like
We will begin by taking the time to understand what brings you to the work at this moment in your life and together establish your goals for therapy. As we continue, we will build safety and trust, stabilising and resourcing you with the tools to better regulate your nervous system.
The journey of exploring, processing and re-integrating disorganised or painful parts and experiences, is unique to each client; some may prefer to use EMDR to target and dissolve the distress of specific memories, without the need for much talk or deep reflection, while others may immerse themselves in the exploration of their rich inner world, leading to a deeper appreciation of who they really are. My work is primarily experiential rather than talk therapy based. Along the way, deep and strong emotions, long buried, may arise. The container and modalities of therapy facilitate a safe and caring space where the experiences you carry can be met and allowed, the pain released and the gold revealed.
A therapy session may include body awareness, felt sense, nervous system regulation, exploring inner parts, emotional processing, reflection, and making sense of patterns and beliefs that may have developed over time as ways of adapting, surviving or protecting.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. My intention is to offer a space where you feel safe enough to arrive as you are—without pressure to perform, explain, or be anything other than human.
Together we create space for healing, insight, connection and meaningful change at a pace that is respectful and attuned to you.
