Being With You was created from a shared commitment to healing, relationship and the transformative potential of therapeutic work.
At the heart of our practice is the belief that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within spaces where we feel safe enough to be fully met.
We offer psychotherapy that is experiential, relational, trauma-informed and integrative, drawing on a variety of evidence-based modalities. Our work supports emotional healing, nervous system regulation, deeper self-understanding and more connected relationships.
We each bring our own distinct background, training and presence to our work, while sharing a common therapeutic philosophy grounded in compassion, curiosity, authenticity and deep respect for each person’s inner world.

About Being With You


We are a couple with three mostly grown-up children. Long before becoming therapists, we were both deeply curious about the human experience and what supports healing, growth and connection.
Janja’s path has included psychotherapy, yoga, speech pathology, oriental medicine, natural health, re-evaluation co-counselling, family constellations and other body-based and contemplative practices.
Ole’s path has included Vipassana meditation, permaculture, a career in business and engineering, and many years working in natural health.
Seven years ago, a challenging period in our own relationship led us to therapy. The transformation we experienced through that process became the beginning of a shared path.
That experience continues to shape our work today. It gave us a deep respect for the courage it takes to seek support—and for the healing that becomes possible when we feel truly met.
Today, we bring together professional training, lived experience and a broad range of therapeutic influences in service of supporting healing, connection and more conscious, flourishing lives.


Our Story
Our Approach
We are both trained in integrative person-centered psychotherapy and counselling. We have also completed additional training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, with a particular focus on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR.
Our approach combines deep relational presence with highly effective therapeutic tools. We create a space of safety, trust, and non-judgement where you can feel truly seen and your authentic self can emerge. In this supportive environment, we use powerful, evidence-based methods — primarily Internal Family Systems and EMDR — to help you access and transform the root causes of distress, resolve inner conflicts, and create a life of lasting freedom and fulfillment.
We are drawn to IFS and EMDR because they deeply respect each client’s unique inner system while delivering rapid, profound, and enduring results. Rather than simply managing symptoms, these approaches facilitate genuine healing at the source.
We also have a deep passion for supporting couples and families. We currently offer individual therapy and will soon be expanding our services to include couples therapy, helping partners rebuild connection, understanding, and intimacy.
We currently offer individual psychotherapy with Janja and Ole.
While we practise under the shared Being With You umbrella, each of us works individually with our own clients. You are welcome to read more about each therapist and choose who feels like the best fit for you.
