Healing is remembering who you are beneath what happened to you.
From that place, greater freedom, self-leadership and authentic connection become possible.

I offer a warm and compassionate therapeutic space grounded in integrative person-centred psychotherapy and drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, attachment theory and somatic awareness.
While insight and conversation can be valuable, the approaches I use work at emotional, relational and nervous system levels, creating the conditions for meaningful healing, lasting change and deeper self-understanding. As a result, many people experience shifts that are difficult to achieve through reflection and conversation alone.
Some people come seeking relief from anxiety, overwhelm, relationship difficulties or the impact of specific traumatic experiences. Others are looking for personal growth, greater freedom, and a deeper connection with themselves and their lives. Together we find an approach that honours your goals and supports the change you are seeking.
For some, this may involve using EMDR to process and heal the impact of distressing experiences and memories, reducing the emotional charge they continue to carry in everyday life. For others, it may involve exploring and transforming the deeper patterns, beliefs and protective strategies that have developed over time. Often, it is a combination of both.
I understand anxiety, depression or disconnection not as problems to be fixed, but as a person's best attempt to cope with difficult experiences. When we meet these symptoms with compassion and curiosity, they can guide us to the parts of ourselves that not only carry the trauma that can be healed, but also the gold that enriches our lives.

My Journey
My path into psychotherapy was shaped by my own transformative journey of healing as much as by professional training.
Through many years of personal therapeutic work, I came to trust the profound capacity we all have for healing, growth and change.
This journey sparked a lifelong interest in healing and human development. Alongside my psychotherapy training, I have spent decades exploring the relationship between mind, body and emotional wellbeing through yoga, meditation, oriental medicine, natural health and wisdom traditions.
Over time, these experiences revealed something fundamental: healing is rarely about fixing what is wrong with us. More often, it is about creating the conditions for understanding, integration and reconnection with the deeper resources that already exist within us.
My experiences have taught me to trust the wisdom of the human system, the importance of presence and relationship, and the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right conditions. They have also shown me that meaningful change is possible when people are met with the right combination of safety, understanding, effective therapeutic modalities and genuine human connection.
I aim to bring these qualities into my work through grounded presence, compassion, curiosity and care. While therapy often involves meeting difficult experiences, I also recognise the value of humour, lightness and the moments of unexpected grace that can emerge along the way.
Walking alongside others as they reconnect with themselves, heal old wounds and discover new possibilities for their lives is both a privilege and a continual source of meaning in my work.

What Therapy With Me Is Like
My intention is to offer a space where you feel deeply met and accepted, exactly as you are. A space where difficult emotions, vulnerable experiences and hidden parts of yourself can emerge safely and be met with unconditional regard.
Together we take the time to understand what brings you to therapy and what you hope might change. Depending on your needs, our work may involve processing the impact of specific traumatic experiences, exploring longstanding emotional and relational patterns, developing greater nervous system regulation, or deepening your understanding of yourself and your inner world. Some people come seeking relief from a particular issue, while others are drawn to a deeper exploration of themselves and their lives.
Healing can ask us to turn towards experiences we may have spent years avoiding. My role is not to push or overwhelm, but to walk alongside you with care, steadiness and respect for your own pace.
As healing unfolds, many people experience greater self-trust and a growing capacity to respond to life with more choice, clarity and confidence. Difficult experiences that once felt overwhelming often begin to lose their grip, creating new possibilities in how they relate to themselves, others and the world around them.
Ultimately, I see healing as a process of reconnecting with who we are beneath the burdens, adaptations and protective patterns we have developed along the way.
